LA SECRETARÍA DE Gobernación se quedó el martes durante varias horas sin su Data Center, que es la infraestructura donde se encuentran sus elementos de red, almacenamiento y sistemas de computación.
Se trata del espacio donde se alojan datos valiosos y sensibles de este despacho del poder ejecutivo federal y, por ende, del país, porque estamos hablando de las funciones de un Ministerio del Interior.
Lo peor es que no fue por un hackeo, sino simplemente una negligencia e incompetencia de las huestes de Luisa María Alcalde al omitir el pago al proveedor del servicio, Triara, de Carlos Slim Helú.
El tema es aún más criticable porque con cuatro días de anticipación, la compañía de Telmex que dirige su sobrino, Héctor Slim Seade, les había alertado que les iban a cortar el servicio por morosos.
Y es que tienen un adeudo de 64 millones de pesos que venían negando pagar, el cual va desde enero de este año hasta la fecha. Como hicieron oídos sordos, vino la suspensión de algunos servicios.
Gobernación amaneció el martes sin correos electrónicos, servicio de nómina, centro de datos y sistemas. El acceso a internet nunca fue deshabilitado por Triara-Telmex, como erróneamente se dijo por ahí.
Bajado el switch, sabemos que las huestes de la flamante presidenta de Morena se comprometieron, ahora sí, a pagar, por lo que después de unas horas les reinstalaron servicios mediante protocolos automatizados.
