Señorío Tlaxcalteca… Otra vez policías acusados de secuestro

Las y los ministros de la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación se dividieron en torno a la reforma judicial del presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, entre quienes opinaron que se requieren juristas acreditados y de carrera, y quienes señalaron que el Poder Judicial se tiene que democratizar mediante la elección por voto popular.
Durante el primer foro organizado en la Cámara de Diputados sobre la reforma, los ocho ministros que se manifestaron, de una manera u otra, en contra fueron la ministra presidenta Norma Piña, y las y los ministros Margarita Ríos Farjat, Jorge Mario Pardo Rebolledo, Alberto Pérez Dayán, Juan Luis González Alcántara Carrancá, Javier Laynez Potisek, Luis María Aguilar y Alfredo Gutiérrez Ortiz Mena, quien trató de ser neutral, pero al final opinó que “lo mejor sería una reforma al sistema meritocrático de carrera judicial que ya tenemos”.
Mientras que quienes se pronunciaron a favor fueron las ministras Lenia Batres Guadarrama, Yasmín Esquivel Mossa y Loretta Ortiz Ahlf.
