Terrorismo: FBI advierte sobre amenazas en EU similares al 11S.

Desde que comenzó la guerra entre Israel y el grupo islamista Hamás el 7 de octubre, el director del FBI, Christopher Wray ha lanzado advertencias sobre la seguridad de Estados Unidos, algo que nuevamente abordó este 5 de diciembre durante su testificación ante el Comité Judicial del Senado estadounidense, donde advirtió que las amenazas terroristas contra el país están en su punto más alto mientras los crímenes de odio en contra de las comunidades judías y musulmanas van al alza.
El senador republicano Lindsey Graham le preguntó a Wray que explicara en qué nivel de amenaza de seguridad se encuentra Estados Unidos en estos momentos, a lo que el titular del FBI contestó que nunca ha visto “un momento en el que todas las amenazas o tantas amenazas sean elevadas exactamente al mismo tiempo”, pues explicó que a través de los años las amenazas individuales se elevaban de vez en cuando.
Graham continuó abordando el tema y habló sobre una analogía de las luces rojas parpadeantes sobre el atentado del 11 de septiembre, en donde todas las luces estaban rojas antes de ese día y aparentemente “todos nos lo perdimos”. Después de esto, le preguntó al titular del FBI si actualmente había “múltiples luces rojas parpadeantes ahí afuera” a lo que Wray le contestó que veía “luces parpadeantes por todas partes”.
