La ministra presidenta llevó el conflicto entre poderes hasta la orilla del abismo: la posibilidad de una ruptura constitucional ante la rebelión de los togados contra la reforma que va a cambiar el modo de elección de jueces, magistrados y ministros del Poder Judicial. Hasta ahora los ministros eran designados a propuesta presidencial y aprobados por la mayoría calificada del Senado –que fue primero PRI y luego PRI-PAN– y el domingo comenzó el proceso para que sean electos por voto popular ciudadano.
Hacia finales de la semana pasada, la ministra presidenta se apersonó en el territorio político del Senado para una ceremonia institucional y ahí le dejó el mensaje de que su bloque conservador del Poder Judicial ya nada podía hacer para frenar la reforma y también por esas horas la ministra presidenta perdió una votación en el Consejo de la Judicatura para entregar la lista de cargos disponibles para ser votados.
