Ante el creciente malestar por la falta de claridad para elegir candidatos y candidatas en Morena, la dirigencia nacional y estatal de ese partido ha acelerado la firma de pactos de unidad en los municipios tlaxcaltecas a fin de evitar rupturas.
En algunos municipios estos pactos están sostenidos por alfileres y debido a que los dirigentes morenistas como Carlos Augusto Pérez Hernández y el diputado federal Armando Contreras Castillo simulan que hay democracia en Morena, los aspirantes juegan a que aceptan las reglas cuando en realidad están en contacto con otros partidos para en caso de no ser beneficiados con la candidatura participarán en los comicios del próximo 2 de junio con otra fuerza política.
Ese fenómeno no sólo existe en el proceso interno para elegir abanderados a las 60 alcaldías, sino para algunos distritos locales donde Morena pretende imponer candidatos a diputados locales sólo porque tienen ligas y nexos con el grupo de la gobernadora Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros y no porque representen la mejor opción y el aspirante con más posicionamiento y potencial de votos.
