En los últimos meses, el Tribunal Electoral de Tlaxcala (TET) ha estado en el ojo del huracán. Una y otra vez, sus decisiones han sido corregidas por la Sala Regional del Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federación (TEPJF), como si se tratara de un estudiante que necesita constantemente la corrección del maestro. Pero, ¿hasta cuándo vamos a tolerar un órgano que, en teoría, debería ser el bastión de la imparcialidad y la justicia electoral, pero en la práctica no es más que un gigante con pies de barro?
Tomemos como ejemplo reciente el caso de Huamantla, donde el TET anuló la votación en 30 casillas basándose en argumentos que el TEPJF desestimó por falta de fundamento. ¿Cómo es posible que un tribunal encargado de velar por la transparencia y legalidad de los procesos electorales tome decisiones tan endebles? Esto no es un simple error de juicio; es una señal clara de ineficiencia y falta de criterio sólido… más aún, cada vez crecen más las versiones, de que su actuar está respondiendo a intereses muy específicos, de ser así, ¿dónde quedan los principios de legalidad, certeza e imparcialidad?
Las razones que llevaron al TET a anular dos casillas por supuesta presión electoral se desplomaron cuando se reveló que no había evidencia documental que respaldara dichas acusaciones. Peor aún, la anulación de 28 casillas adicionales por errores en el cómputo se demostró que no alteraba en lo más mínimo el resultado final de la elección. ¿Qué clase de tribunal no puede distinguir entre errores insignificantes y aquellos que verdaderamente afectan el resultado electoral?
Este no es un caso aislado, sino parte de un patrón preocupante. La reiterada corrección de sus fallos sugiere una falta de preparación y un vacío en los estándares de calidad y rigor que debería tener un órgano de su naturaleza. No es exagerado afirmar que el TET ha dejado de ser un árbitro confiable para convertirse en una fuente de incertidumbre y desconfianza.
