Los últimos días del sexenio han servido para enmarcar el legado autoritario del presidente López Obrador. Las reformas legislativas, los actos de gobierno y los acomodos partidistas en Morena, de la mano de la presidenta electa, contradicen el discurso del retiro sexenal y condicionan de manera excepcional la agenda del próximo gobierno.
Con la reforma judicial y la anunciada desaparición de los órganos autónomos, se confirma la anulación de la división de poderes y la eliminación de los contrapesos al ejercicio del poder. La politización de la justicia y la falta de equilibrios institucionales prefigura la concentración del poder en una sola persona, la discrecionalidad en los actos de gobierno, la indefensión de los ciudadanos ante los abusos de poder y el debilitamiento de la República ante la pérdida de los atributos constitucionales de nuestro régimen político.
Adicionalmente, como declaró el IMCO, ha quedado comprometida la imparcialidad del sistema jurídico que requieren los socios del TMEC, lo que genera desconfianza y la cautela de los inversionistas.
La militarización de la guardia nacional representa la consolidación del ejército como soporte del grupo en el poder. La paradoja es que fue la izquierda la que consumó entrega de la seguridad pública a manos del ejército, contraviniendo la lógica histórica de su lucha y las mejores prácticas internacionales.
