El nombramiento de Moctezuma Bautista Vázquez como delegado en funciones de presidente de Morena en Tlaxcala ha generado diversas reacciones en el ámbito político local. A simple vista, su continuidad hasta el 2027 parece una jugada estratégica para consolidar la estructura del partido de cara a las próximas elecciones, pero detrás de esta decisión surgen cuestionamientos sobre si su liderazgo es el adecuado para los retos que enfrentará Morena en la entidad.
Moctezuma Bautista no es una figura ajena al escenario político. Como ex rector de la Universidad Tecnológica de Tlaxcala, ha sido criticado por sectores que consideran que su gestión estuvo marcada por el bajo perfil y la falta de resultados contundentes. Ahora, al frente de Morena, enfrenta el reto de revitalizar un partido que, aunque ha ganado terreno en los últimos años, no está exento de divisiones internas y tensiones políticas.
La decisión de mantener a Bautista al frente del Comité Ejecutivo Estatal hasta el 2027 responde, en parte, a la necesidad de Morena de asegurar la continuidad de su proyecto político. Sin embargo, esta prolongación de su mandato no ha sido vista con buenos ojos por todos. Algunos sectores del partido, en particular aquellos vinculados al lorenismo, consideran que el liderazgo de Bautista representa un freno más que un impulso para el avance del movimiento.
En este contexto, la llegada de Luisa María Alcalde como presidenta nacional de Morena y de Andrés Manuel López Beltrán como secretario de Organización a partir del 1 de octubre puede cambiar el tablero político. Si bien Bautista cuenta con el respaldo del comité estatal, los movimientos a nivel nacional podrían traer consigo ajustes y nuevas directrices que alteren las dinámicas internas en Tlaxcala. Habrá que ver si el nuevo liderazgo en Morena reforzará a Bautista o buscará una renovación en el estado.
