Prestaciones laborales, seguridad social y contractuales: son derechos que se
Cuatro años y días ha que publiqué en el portal etcétera un texto titulado “Por un(a) mañana mejor”. Cito su último párrafo:
“Hablemos de las políticas y los programas instaurados por el gobierno y de los que cancela, de los funcionarios designados o removidos, de las denuncias presentadas y de los procesos judiciales en curso, de las iniciativas de Ley turnadas y de los decretos emitidos. Pero no de lo que dice el presidente todos los días desde su púlpito. Asumo aquí el compromiso de no volver a escribir la palabra Mañanera, ni a citar lo dicho en ella, antes del 1º de octubre de 2024. Tómese como mi aportación a un(a) mañana mejor.”
Si violo por menos de un mes tal promesa es sólo para no traicionar su espíritu: a semanas de que termine el mandato de Andrés Manuel López Obrador, creo indispensable citar lo dicho ayer por él en su conferencia de prensa matutina, ya sólo para mostrar cuán grave es el error de seguirle el juego, de permitir que marque la agenda de cuanto se discute en medios y redes.
El domingo pasado, en el acto de masas asociado a su sexto informe de gobierno, el presidente procuró una votación a mano alzada sobre la pertinencia de elegir a los jueces por sufragio directo universal. Como en todo acto de masas con un público integrado en el mejor de los casos por militantes y simpatizantes, en el peor por acarreados –Morena tiene particular inclinación por ese tipo de concentración pero todos los partidos las organizan: son uno de los rituales del dispendioso y autorreferencial kitsch político mexicano–, ganó la opción que quería el líder: la prevista en el guión. No hay ahí política ni siquiera comunicación: nomás una de las formas más viejas e ineficaces de la propaganda política.
