Lo que es un hecho es que las autoridades tlaxcaltecas son muy buenas para presumir cifras cuando los benefician, pero cuando hay información de otra fuente que pone en duda los supuestos logros de la administración lorenista los funcionarios que deberían dar la cara y aclarar los números sobre la incidencia delictiva se esconden o evaden su responsabilidad como los foráneos titulares de las secretarías de Gobierno y Seguridad Ciudadana, Luis Antonio Ramírez Hernández y Alberto Perea Marrufo.
Resulta que los datos obtenidos por el Censo Nacional de Seguridad Pública Estatal 2024 levantado al final del 2023 por el Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía (Inegi), revelaron que Tlaxcala se ubicó en el primer lugar de probables robos y asaltos en carreteras y puentes estatales.
De acuerdo con la información, dos mil 780 delitos de ese tipo se habrían perpetrado en la entidad, cifra que resulta alarmante porque implicaría que durante todo el año pasado se cometían 7.6 asaltos diarios, lo cual al menos no está reflejado en las denuncias presentadas en la extinta Procuraduría General de Justicia en el Estado.
