Cansada de las grillas internas y del golpeteo que llevaban a cabo ciertos priistas para desgastar y hundir el proyecto de Anabell Ávalos Zempoalteca para competir y asegurar su llegada al Senado, la ex gobernadora Beatriz Paredes Rangel ejerció su poder e influencia con el líder nacional de PRI, Alejandro Moreno Cárdenas, para frenar la quintacolumna que desde el marianismo se venía operando para debilitar al ex partidazo.
En un acuerdo claro entre Beatriz y Alejandro, ayer fue designado e impuesto como nuevo presidente del PRI en Tlaxcala, al longevo Ernesto García Sarmiento, un cercano colaborador de la senadora y aliado de Anabell Ávalos, capaz de frenar los embates de Mariano González Zarur y su hijo Mariano González Aguirre, quienes no están contentos con la repartición de posiciones y candidaturas que se han dado, porque según ellos, su grupo ha sido marginado.
Los marianistas intentaron en un primer lugar hacerse de la dirigencia del partido a través del junior Mariano González, propuesta que no caminó entre los militantes tlaxcaltecas, de ahí que se optó por impulsar a Anabel Alvarado Varela, quien se anduvo moviendo para tomar las riendas de ese instituto político, pero cómo se detectó que la intención de su grupo era replantear la alianza local con el PAN y quedarse con la primera diputación plurinominal, se desechó su nombramiento porque implicaba desconocer acuerdos previos.
