CIUDAD DE MÉXICO.- Durante 2023, ocho estados concentraron la mitad de las 848 víctimas de feminicidio reportadas en el País: Edomex (89), Nuevo León (73), CDMX (57), Chihuahua (49), Veracruz (45), Morelos (44), Oaxaca (41) y Jalisco (38), reveló el Sistema Nacional de Seguridad Pública (SNSP).
En el reporte “Información sobre violencia contra las mujeres”, el organismo precisó que el año pasado se presentaron 827 denuncias por feminicidio. Del total de víctimas (848), 51.4 por ciento corresponde a las entidades referidas.
Sin embargo, el delito presentó las tasas más altas por cada 100 mil habitantes en Colima (4.86), Morelos (4.06), Campeche (2.83), Nuevo León (2.5), Chihuahua (2.38) y Tlaxcala (1.92).
